Each installment will focus on a different artist, and include exclusive interview segments in addition to live performances. The week following its HOT 20 debut, each live performance will air as a video during scheduled CMT music hours, with an additional artist performance video from the Mountain Dew stage launching simultaneously on CMT.com.
Dierks Bentley will appear in each installment of the series. Kip Moore, David Nail and Chris Young will also take part in the segments. Moore will perform on the July 19 episode, followed by Nail on July 26 and Young on Aug. 9.
Bentley concludes the series on Sept. 6 when the CMT Hot 20 Countdown joins him for a performance at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol, Tennessee. The episode will also include an appearance by race car driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. In addition, Bentley will offer fans exclusive videos and a behind-the-scenes look from the road of his national headlining Riser tour, sponsored by Mountain Dew.
