Jon Conover recently released his latest effort, Keep Believing “Nashville Sessions” and the music video for his song “Keep Believing” which was filmed in Nashville. Jon has performed at top venues in Nashville and will be the featured artist with a Full Band Show at the world famous Bluebird Café in Nashville on Sunday March 1st. In addition, Jon has performed all over the United States and Ireland, done countless radio interviews in the States, Europe and Australia and entertains at over 200 shows a year. “Nashville Sessions” is a collection of original Americana songs that are a two-step-shuffle closer to Country and Bluegrass than Conover’s first two albums but still reflect his soulful, rock roots. The songs were recorded in 2014 at Reba McEntire’s Starstruck Studios in Nashville, TN. Jon worked with some of the premier names in the industry on his latest three songs, including top songwriter and guitar ace, Keith Gattis (Kenny Chesney, Kid Rock, Gary Allen), famed West Coast producer and keys Player, Ed Roth (Avett Brothers, Tom Morello, Flogging Molly), three-time Grammy winning producer/engineer, Trina Shoemaker (Brandi Carlile, Sheryl Crow, Queens of the Stoneage) and four time Grammy winning mastering engineer and drummer, Joe Palamaccio. Below is a listing of the tracks off the EP along with a brief description. 1. "Keep Believing" is an upbeat, fiddle driven, barn party, commercial country-folk-pop-Americana foot tapper, that conjures up the image of a struggling musician with dirt on his jeans singing the anthem that keeps his tip jar full. 2. "Counterfeit Soul" is a meandering poetic lyric, that plucks at the heart strings and engages the intellect using classical guitar, mandolin and violin. The vocal vibe is uniquely beatlesque and the listener would feel comfortable absorbing this song near a camp fire with a night cap or while feeling the tide slowly retreat on a moonlit beach. 3. "Ordinary Lies" is a radio friendly, acoustic toting rock tune that got off the bus in Nashville and started jammin, lyrically the song taps into the darker side of the creative conscious and fights to return to the light, the big structure vocals are reinforced with Joe Walsh style guitar.
