Regarded as one of NYC's premiere live music venues - and the only music venue in the city with it's own ongoing video music series that's been running for the last four years - City Winery pairs performances by outstanding artists (both established and up and comers) with outstanding food and wine in a seated, intimate setting in SoHo. While the evening's performances take place in the restaurant, artists can also be found down in the barrel room where they perform stripped down, intimate versions of their songs for the Winery's Cellar Sessions. Hailing from Wisconsin, Trapper Schoepp writes well-crafted, insightful, detailed, and nuanced story songs that have the ability to draw you in both lyrically and sonically. His new album, Bay Beach Amusement Park is out today, June 2nd, but you can get to know some of his earlier music from his Cellar Session from 2015. Watch the acoustic video below of Schoepp performing "Don't Go," a song about a young man shipping off to war and then head over to watch his full session visit HERE For more information on City Winery visit HERE To find out more about Trapper Schoepp visit his official website Read TDC review of Bay Beach Amusement Park HERE
