NASHVILLE, TN - November 10, 2015 (Press Release) - Alt-country singer/songwriter Bart Crow makes his debut on the AMA Americana Airplay album chart with his new album The Parade. The Texas native’s sixth album, and first for the famed Nashville-based Thirty Tigers (Lucinda Williams, Patty Griffin, The Avett Brothers, Ryan Bingham, Flogging Molly, Aaron Watson, Jason Isbell to name a few), entered the chart at No. 40 and made an impressive leap 13 spots to No. 27 after only one week. This week the album sits at No. 31 with increased spins and continues to show impressive growth. The Parade is available now at iTunes.

“Life Comes At You Fast,” the debut single from The Parade, peaked at No. 2 on the Texas Music Chart after a solid 25 weeks. The single, which Crow co-wrote with songwriting heavy-weights Trent Summar and Gary Nicholson, spent the last six weeks in the Top 5 of the Texas charts making it the longest running Top 5 Texas singles of the year. The Maypearl, TX native has lofted six No.1 singles on the Texas Music Chart.

In October, Starbucks chose the track “Dear Music,” from The Parade as part of their overhead music program.

The Parade, produced by Justin Pollard, includes nine of 11 tracks written or co-written by Crow. It is the followup to his five independently released and critically-acclaimed albums including most recently Dandelion which debuted at No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers South Central chart.

The road-toughened troubadour and Army Veteran has already put together an admirable track record as a recording artist releasing five albums in over a decade with money pulled from his own pockets. Crow has been cheered in Country Weekly, on CMT, AOL, Music Connection and in other national media outlets. His YouTube videos and concert footage have drawn more than2.5 million views.

The blue-collar balladeer, plays 130+ dates a year in front of loyal rowdy crowds at far-flung, late-night clubs and concert halls all over Texas, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Illinois, Kansas, Arkansas, Nebraska, Montana and beyond. It's his music that draws them -- a tangle of roots in blues, country and down-home rock 'n' roll, branded with his unique imprint. A myriad of influences haunt his music including a choir of real American country in the fashion of Merle and Waylon, John Conlee, George Jones and Jerry Jeff Walker, razor-edged rock from Metallica, Pearl Jam, Alice in Chains, deep-fried Southern soul from Otis Redding and more.
