NASHVILLE, TN (April 19, 2016 PR) - "Rootsy as it gets" (The Deli Nashville) blues rock band Laurel & the Love-In is teaming up with the site to premiere their new single "Gonna Do". The track is the second release from the group's forthcoming new record "Don't Love Nobody" set to drop on June 24, 2016. Laurel & the Love-In's new single "Gonna Do" is a Nashville throwback rock and roll blend of bad attitude and Southern spunk, and Laurel Sorenson (lead vocals, keys) herself is a force to be reckoned with. Her bold, smoky vocals belt over a hard-hitting beat, as she addresses independence and desperation with darkly defiant lyrics. Listen up, here: http://bit.ly/1QktUoY

Laurel & the Love-In is set to release Don't Love Nobody on June 24, 2016. The group's first release "Got A Light" from the new record features manic guitars, screaming organs, punk vibes and whole lot of sass. Listen, here: http://bit.ly/1VgXS5x

Laurel and the group cite a range of soulful and bluesy influences, including Amy Winehouse, Alabama Shakes and Grace Potter & the Nocturnals meshed with rock classics Led Zeppelin, The Beatles and The Ramones. The result is a sound that is both retro yet fresh and an onstage presence that is both mature yet wild with frenetic energy.

Laurel & the Love-In is Laurel Sorenson (vocals, keys), Ian Kendall (guitar), Michael Rasile, (drums), John Lattimer (bass) andVeronica Selby (background vocals). Sorenson says ofthe forthcoming album: "When we're kids, we watch movies, listen to songs and read books about what love is going to be like. 'Don't Love Nobody' tells a coming-of-age story about the disillusionment that follows when those expectations aren't met on the journey to self-reliance and ultimately self-acceptance."

I have been publishing my music blog since 2013. I did so because there are a lot of really good, established musicians who have paid their dues but have not gotten the exposure their music deserves. I have recently been working with a PR firm who likes what I do and has greatly extended my reach into the industry.
I am reaching over 28,000 real music fans/month 4000/month on Facebook and with all the retweets and mentions on Twitter, I am getting to about 25,000 music fans. I do not have analytics on my Instagram account.
I am not sure how much the PR company I am working with has extended my reach but my twitter following is growing exponentially, weekly. I just started this account a couple of weeks ago @MMBtheblog and I am very happy with what I am seeing.
These are good numbers not because of my followings but because I work very hard to get to more people where most just passively post rather than actively engaging more than just those who respond to their posts. That is the key to social media, you have to work at it like anything else. I also work very hard to keep the content fresh and interesting reaching out to artists, making myself accessible and covering live events here in Atlanta.
Advertising on the blog is 100.00/month on the main header, which appears on every page and 50.00/month for an ad in the margin on the artist(s) of your choice. I have special rates for yearly subscribers. I am also a Ceramic Artist and Jewelry Maker, Atlanta Ceramic Pendants.
