Dually produced by Don Kerce at Anarchy and Shawn Gough at Break The Cycle Entertainment in Nashville, “Painkiller” was co-written by Greg Barnhill,Stephen Pasch, and Kristian Bergsnes. The song was composed to help and inspire encouragement to listeners who struggle with substance abuse.

“You have to push beyond the hard times to reach the better,” said Hall. “When I first heard this song I wasn't sold on recording it. I then thought about how this song could help one person or maybe more. I think lots of people will relate to this song because everyone has experienced happiness walk out of their life in some shape or form… love, a job opportunity, whatever have you… but abusing a substance won’t fix the situation.”

For every download of “Painkiller,” 10% of the proceeds will be donated to Cross Link Community Church’s Celebrate Recovery in Hall’s hometown to raise awareness about depression and alcohol/drug abuse. A music video is currently in the final stages of production and is expected to release later this summer.

Hall’s biggest influence is Tim McGraw and he has often been told his voice resembles the country superstar. Hall has opened for numerous major label artists from the rising duo LoCash to the legendary Ronnie Milsap. The previous single “Hollerwood” landed at No. 94 on MusicRow’s Country Breakout chart.

Originally from Grove City, Ohio, Hall came of age on a 50-acre farm where his family raised their own livestock and vegetable garden. Hall spent much of his adolescence in church where he sang gospel with his mother and sisters. Referred to as The Hall Family, Hall and his family travelled through Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia to perform and entertain. At the age of 21, Hall graduated from the local police academy where he went on to work with US Marshalls and donate his time to other law enforcement departments before concentrating on his passion for music.
