In advance of his taping for the “Front and Center” CMA Songwriters Series show, Tyler will be a part of a CMA Country takeover of ABC and New York City when he appears on “Good Morning America” with Kelsea Ballerini on Sept. 9 for the highly-anticipated announcement of the final nominees for “The 49th Annual CMA Awards” live from the heart of Times Square.

Tyler and Ballerini, will announce the final nominees in five categories live in the 8:30AM/ET half-hour segment. In addition to announcing the finalists, Tyler will perform “Love is Your Name.” Following the announcements on “Good Morning America,” Ballerini and Tyler will announce the remaining finalists at approximately 9:10 AM/ET on GoodMorningAmerica.com on Yahoo. The Yahoo-ABC News Network is the No. 1 Source for General News online.

After the announcement of the final nominees, Tyler will visit the set of nationally-syndicated “Live with Kelly and Michael” to talk about his Country project and the newly-announced nominees.

“Steven Tyler is one of the greatest creative minds of our time,” said Don Maggi, “Front and Center” Executive Producer. "To have him in this setting stripping down his music to the essence of what makes a great song - paying tribute to that craft - is an honor for us."

Tyler is considered one of music's most recognizable and dynamic frontmen and has been cited by Rolling Stone as "one of the greatest singers of all time." Together, Tyler and Aerosmith have sold more than 150 million records worldwide that have included 25 Gold, 18 Platinum and 12 multi-Platinum album certifications.
