Muscadine Bloodline Release "Movin' On"

Nashville, TN—January, 2018 (Press Release)--- Critically-acclaimed Country duo Muscadine Bloodline releases new single, “Movin’ On,” to digital retailers and streaming platforms today. Co-written by duo members Gary Stanton and Charlie Muncaster alongside hit maker Cary Barlowe, “Movin’ On” will serve as the title track to Muscadine Bloodline’s forthcoming EP, set for release this April.

Earlier this week, Rolling Stone Country featured the exclusive first listen of the track, describing the tune as “ever-shifting” and highlighting the “emotive harmonies and atmospheric production.”  The duo shared how they strategically set out to keep new listeners engaged.

“Once you're past the first chorus people are either over the song or not over the song, so we always want the song to move," says Stanton, who makes up ½ of Muscadine Bloodline. "In the second verse the guitar changes and has its own little riff, so we just like to let the song move where there's a bunch of different parts and a bunch of different hooks, whether vocally or guitar driven. I feel like the more hooks the better."

Last night (1/18), Muscadine Bloodline performed for a sold-out crowd filled with fans and industry veterans at Nashville’s famed Exit/In. The duo will continue to crisscross the U.S. headlining shows before joining Whiskey Myers for a run of dates this February/March, and will hit several major festivals this April, including Tortuga Music Festival (4/8) and Stagecoach Music Festival (4/28).
