Artist Spotlight: Wade Bowen

As the last full month of summer begins and warm sunny days turn into cooler nights, the quaint town of Challis, Idaho, which sits snug near the Sawtooth Mountains, prepares for an influx of music aficionados from all over the globe for the Braun Brothers Reunion Festival. Regarded as one of the state’s premier musical gatherings by both attendees and artists alike, the BBR is a family-friendly event that unites artists and fans in an unparalleled setting for three unforgettable, music-filled days. 

This year, the BBR will be held from August 8th-10th and will feature fifteen Americana, Texas, and Red Dirt artists including BBR regular, and fan-favorite, singer-songwriter Wade Bowen who recently released "Inconsistent Chaos," a documentary short film about mental health. In the finale of our Artist Spotlight series, Bowen gives a few all important pointers for those attending the Reunion. Read on to learn WB's BBR "Do's and Dont's".

Do

1.  Do Arrive early and stay late
The Brauns take a ton of pride in EVERY SINGLE ACT they book on that stage. They are there for a reason so embrace and enjoy. Open your minds to new music cause it might change your life. Or at least your weekend. Ha

2. DO: bring a hoodie and climb to the top of that mountain facing the the stage

3. DO: eat breakfast at the Y-Inn every day if possible. 

Don't

1. DON’T try to find a 3rd WB cause there are only 2. Always has been. Always will be. Good friends. Good times. Good pizza. 

2. DON’T get in a car with drunk fans headed downtown.

3. DON’T make a golf bet with anyone cause the ladder ball at the end of the round will get ya every time. It is their “member bounce”.

Tickets purchased online will be picked up at will call at the venue.
Tickets are Non-refundable.
Kids age 5 and under are free.
Kids age 6-12 are $15 a day and can ONLY be purchased at the front gate even if its sold out.
Kids age 13 and up pay full adult price.
