1. The Black Lillies "Fade." The closing track on Hard To Please makes one an emotional mess (in a good way). 2. Supersuckers Feat. Hayes Carll "This Life Would Be A Whole Lot Better" Rollicking, humorous track from Holdin' The Bag. 3. Ward Davis "15 Years In A 10 Year Town" The title track to a gem of an album that you shouldn't overlook. 4. Evan Felker "Peace and Happiness" From the Ted Hawkins tribute album Cold and Bitter Tears - if you haven't sought it out, do. 5. Shane Smith & The Saints "All I See Is You" The entire album, Geronimo, captivates, but this one is currently on repeat. 6. The Roosevelts "Runaround" That groove! Mandolin! Insanely catchy break up tune from a duo that needs to be on your radar. 7. Mike and The Moonpies "Miserable Man" Trombone and French horn amplify the sadness in the tale of a couple who, for better or for worse, are “Both committed to the rings on their hands/this heartbroken women and this miserable man.” 8. Holly Golightly "Frozen In Time" From her solo album Slowtown Now which you'll love more with each listen. 9. Bart Crow "Dear Music," Rootsy goodness in a letter to music from The Parade. 10. Crooks "Toe To Toe" These guys are in a class by themselves. And a bonus, cause it's just.so.good. Green River Ordinance's "Red Fire Night"
