"I didn’t really lose you No -- it was sweet mimetic desire. And what’s the point of fooling you When both our hearts are tired. Words so empty now. They can’t claim much But the minute you leave She’s gonna want your touch."

Nashville-based, sibling led band The Lost Wages hails from Memphis, born out of the nature that makes Memphis, well, Memphis. Fusing a honky tonk edge with wide-open, anthemic melodies and a warmth reminiscent of the 70's Laurel Canyon scene, TLW are adeptly putting their musical fingerprint on a nostalgic sound.
Their tune "High Life" hits the musical sweet spot blending roots, country, and southern rock with bluesy guitar work, keys, and the duo's strong harmonies. Get Plugged In above. TLW hosts a monthly residency, "Country Club," at Nashville's Basement East, showcasing up and coming local artists. A "Country Club where you don't have to wear a tie and ordering a 40 is encouraged." Country Club's aim is to nurture Nashville's unique community of artists by providing the laid back, good vibe atmosphere that gave Music City its second lease on being an entertainment hub. Her debut single "White Picket Fence" was inspired by the highs and lows people experience when in a relationship - "It's about being in love with someone but having the sense to know it isn't a promising or compromising relationship. The song focuses on how your desired person can control your emotions by doing so little. Even though the song portrays as sad, the White Picket Fence refers to having hope, perhaps for that love or another".
Having worked with names such as Duke Special, Rachel Sage and Steve Lillywhite, she now has decided to focus solely on her own material. Fiona was chosen as one of Pan-arts Top Songwriters of the Year in 2017, this has led her to perform in various famous music venues including Nashville's Blue Bird Café. Directed by Kelly Levacher, the music video for "White Picket Fence" was shot in Williamsburg NYC. Watch the video above and for more information visit HERE
