Hailing from San Diego, Wish and the Well's roots based music blends the blues with an alt-country vibe. The quintet - Steven Crowle (guitar, back up vox), Dillon Casey (keys, pedal steel, back up vox), Corey Leal ( vox, guitar), Cheyne Dolly (drums), and Trevor Mulvey (bass) - is set to release their debut record, Darling Darling, on Jan 27th and in advance of the release, you can preview in-full two of the tracks here on The Daily Country. "Ain't That Something" is a retro, blues tinged dance floor number about the one who made him feel like a better man while the somber ballad "Darling Darling" reflects on demise of a relationship (due to an indescretion on their part), yet still wanting the person back to "one day share my name." Thanks for suggesting us to give this a listen. I did that and I had a great time listening to these. I will make sure that my Essay Mama mates listen to this as well. They will certainly enjoy listening.
