Hailing from San Diego, Wish and the Well's roots based music blends the blues with an alt-country vibe. The quintet - Steven Crowle (guitar, back up vox), Dillon Casey (keys, pedal steel, back up vox), Corey Leal ( vox, guitar), Cheyne Dolly (drums), and Trevor Mulvey (bass) - is set to release their debut record, Darling Darling, on Jan 27th and in advance of the release, you can preview in-full two of the tracks here on The Daily Country. "Ain't That Something" is a retro, blues tinged dance floor number about the one who made him feel like a better man while the somber ballad "Darling Darling" reflects on demise of a relationship (due to an indescretion on their part), yet still wanting the person back to "one day share my name." This will be the last MONTHLY "What's Spinning" because in January the playlist is moving to a WEEKLY feature. There's just so much good, undiscovered music out there that I want to be able to expose you to more of it, more often. So enjoy December's list and we'll see you back in January for the kick off of the new weekly list!
