Having spent years on the road, busking, playing festivals and touring around the world, Ren gives us his traveled and weathered infused tales of life experience in the form of well crafted folk songs. Ren was born into a culturally Irish household in London where the tradition of story telling was ingrained in him from an early age. That Irish heritage mixed with listening to some great records from his parents collection pushed Ren in to immersing himself in London's bustling singer-songwriter scene. Ren’s 2017 debut release ‘A Calling From The Shore’ reflects upon an adventurous and searching period of time living out of his van around the UK and Europe and has received over 400k streams on spotify since it’s release as well as having being played on top regional and national radio stations including BBC Radio 6music. Today, Ren shares an acoustic performance of "The Writer." Blue Rose Code, aka acclaimed singer-songwriter Ross Wilson, released The Water Of Leith, his first album for Navigator Records, in autumn 2017. A host of stellar reviews culminated in the award for Scottish Album of the Year from The Skinny, whose 5* review stated: “each song fuses a multitude of elements to produce breathtaking beauty”. Stand-out album track Ebb & Flow was released as a single on January 19, described by Ross thus, “Above the entrance to the Scottish National Gallery Of Modern Art there is a neon sign that exclaims "Everything Is Going To Be Alright!". The problem that I have with that is I wasted so long waiting for everything to be alright, waiting for something to happen but now, the truth as I see it is that everything is alright. A subtle but powerful difference. There is nothing wrong with right now, that's what the song is about.” Enjoy the video, which is bound to make you happy, above and for more information visit: WEBSITE | FACEBOOK | TWITTER | SPOTIFY Singer-songwriter Anjelia Pelay released the video for her emotional new single, "Heart Of Gold."
