JB and the Moonshine Band's video for their current single, "Shotgun, Rifle, and a .45," makes a lyrical statement supporting one's individual right to bear arms, of which the band is very passionate. Take a look at the video below and read TDC's review of their single, from the album Mixtape, here. Emmy-nominated The White Buffalo's critically hailed new album Love and the Death of Damnation was released on August 21st. It debuted on numerous Billboard charts including #1 Top New Artist Chart, #8 Folk Chart, #164 Top 200 Albums Chart, and #15 Top Independent Label Chart. Billboard Magazine vowed, “His voice is Eddie Vedder with more Jameson; his attitude is Johnny Cash with more empathy.” The Boston Globe asserted, “With Love and the Death of Damnation, The White Buffalo continues to carve out a space that is truly his own.” LA Times testified, "It is an American voice cured in recession, war and betrayal, a resonant map where the spectral bleeds into dreams. But in it, like mica in slate, is the glint of redemption, flashing just long enough to allow a man to keep a bead on whatever goodness might dwell in him.” |
