Seattle-based musician Shenandoah Davis is excited to share the Benjamin Rowe Violet directed music video for “The Wings,” one of the tracks off her third full-length record, Souvenirs, which came out this past September on Plume Records. Last week, The Stranger shared the beautiful video, which is a mix of stop motion animation and digital compositing, adding that “‘The Wings’ epitomizes her ambitious compositional skills while showcasing her buoyant voice and perceptive lyrics.” Recorded and produced in a Brooklyn apartment, Souvenirs finds Davis going back through past relationships and personal experiences, picking out “moments both significant and insignificant that had gotten stuck in my head for one reason or another,” she shares. Truck Brand Partners With Crowdsourcing Pros Talenthouse and Universal Music Publishing Group to Release Five Original Songs Via Lyric Videos
NASHVILLE, TN (November 27, 2017) – The Ram Truck brand is introducing the newest chapter in its successful “Long Live The Storytellers” video campaign which launched earlier this year. In an innovative approach to this new phase, Ram partnered with creative music talents to release five original country songs through lyric videos. With the goal of spotlighting emerging artists, the truck brand started with the Nashville songwriting community and Universal Music Publishing Group (UMPG), a leading global music publishing company. The artists composed songs that embodied the spirit of the Ram brand and its core values. To bring these original songs to life, Ram partnered with crowdsourcing company Talenthouse, an art networking site with a robust artist community, to pair each song with an artist who would then create a lyric video. The videos are available now on Ram’s YouTube channel and in the Ram Life section of the brand’s webpage. Acclaimed Australian blues rock’n'roll artist, Hamish Anderson's new single, "U’" is the third single release from his Jim Scott-produced debut album. The song, which features Chris Bruce (Doyle Bramhall II) on bass, Aaron Sterling (John Mayer) on drums and Jerry Borge (Jonathan Wilson) on keys, captures the feeling of a lost love that is brought to life in the song's music video which you can enjoy below. http://www.hamishandersonmusic.com https://www.facebook.com/hamishandersonmusic https://twitter.com/hamishkanderson http://instagram.com/hamishanderson1 |
