Leland Sundries "If You're Gonna Drive, I'm Gonna Drink" + "Lone Prairie"

It's been a big year for Leland Sundries, they opened for Low Cut Connie at Bowery Ballroom, performed a Paste session, hit the road, and put down tracks for a new EP due early next year. Now they share their new tune, "If You're Gonna Drive, I'm Gonna Drink" a honky tonk number in the traditional of the Texas songwriters.....with a surprise ending. It's 1/3 true, 1/3 overheard, and 1/3 made up. The B-side is "Lone Prairie," a punk version of a traditional cowboy song that member Nick Loss-Eaton first heard from the Down Hill Strugglers, a Brooklyn string band, at the Brooklyn Folk Fest.
