Country newcomer Carissa Leigh just released the video for her single “Bad Boy”. The talented Kristin Barlowe, who has worked with artists such as Jason Aldean, Love and Theft, and Little Big Town, directed the video, which was filmed in Nashville. The video for "Bad Boy" proves true to the name, casting the hottest, baddest men in Nashville. Carissa captured the song perfectly because, “a woman wants a nice guy, but not really. They really want...the bad boy! And far as guys? Well, every boy wants to be a little bit bad inside!" Watch the video below. Purchase "Bad Boy" on iTunes Follow Carissa on Twitter Find her on Facebook and Instagram Dierks Bentley has been doing a country-bluegrass cover of Avicii's "Hey Brother" during his performances of late...and we love it! Here he is this past weekend at the o2 in London during C2C. Codie Prevost's current single from All Kinds of Crazy is the emotional "Someday." The beautiful and inspirational song is about finding faith and hope in a difficult time, something many of us can relate to. The video for the single tackles the issue of domestic violence with an inspiring message. Recently, you might have heard "Got It Wrong" on the television show Nashville, but Nashville based band The Wild Feathers released their debut album last August on Warner Bros Records. The five-piece band mixes rock, country, blues & folk into a sound all their own. Watch their video for "Got It Wrong" below and catch them May 15th at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC. His current single, which just so happens to be a cover of Justin Timberlake's "Drink You Away", can be heard on Sirius XM's The Highway. We got the chance to chat with him awhile back; you can read the interview here and watch the video below. Texas native Cody Bryan's newest single from the album Wreck Me, which was released on May 14, 2013, is "When We Were Made." The lyrics and melody coupled with the video left me an emotional wreck....but in a good way because isn't that what a great song is supposed to do? "When We Were Made" is a beautiful song with tender vocals and perfect instrumentation which is at times both soothing and haunting. The alternating color and black and white video portrays a love between two people, that were made for each other, lasting until the end of the earth. Don't you want a love like that? I regrettably, am almost a year late to this album, but as the saying goes "better late than never". Watch the video, listen to the lyrics, feel the music...and then go out and get Wreck Me. In addition to Cody, the Cody Bryan Band includes Zach Lynch on lead guitar, Miles Barker on bass, Casey Conway on drums and Cole Gramling on keys. Definitely check them out! http://www.codybryanmusic.com http://www.facebook.com/codybryanband http://www.twitter.com/codybryanband http://www.instagram.com/codybryanband http://www.soundcloud.com/codybryanband |
