Josh Abbott Band have released their most personal music video to date for their new single “Amnesia.” The song details the final chapter of a relationship dissolved in harrowing and heartbreaking detail, and Music Row raves about the single, "...in the case of this perfect performance...the tenor lead vocal aches beautifully, and the band’s chiming, churning accompaniment adds to the fever. Absolutely a winner." Directed by Evan Kaufman, the camera follows a man who has recently lost his wife. Abbott explains, "I didn't want the video for "Amnesia" to be predictable: in other words, I didn't want it to be about divorce or breaking up. I wanted those words to be felt dramatically in a situation that was even more hopeless. So Evan Kaufmann and I worked on a script and treatment that takes the viewer through some very personal images and memories of this main character as he explores his options for moving on from someone. The ending will hit you in the gut." The Josh Abbott band continue their 2016 tour in support of their latest release 'Front Row Seat.' The country favorites album debuted at #1 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart last year and the music has garnered high praise. Rolling Stone called the album, "Ambitious" not only for its confidently twangy sound at a time of remixes and pop influence, but because it goes out on a limb in a way country hasn't seen in decades."
