Pretty Archie "This Whole Town"

​At some point in life everyone experiences mixed feelings about where they're at, where they' re going and where they come from, and Gillis, lead singer Brian Cathcart, Matt McNeil (mandolin/guitar), Redmond MacDougall, (banjo/percussion/vocals) and Scott MacLean (guitar/mandolin) are no exception. Inspired by their hometown of Sydney, as well as the people who inhabit it, Pretty Archie's "This Whole Town" dwells heavily on those conflicting emotions, but always with an eye to inspiring listeners to make the most of what they have. The band notes,

This Whole Town is about falling in love in a town that needs some love. The song was inspired by the people of our hometown Sydney (including ourselves) and the internal struggle of wondering if you're in the right town, at the right time. Are you doing the right things with your time or are your missing out on something more? Ultimately, the song explains that sometimes it's best to make the most of what you have, help grow the life you want around you because home is where the heart is!
