As a child, she performed in a trio with her parents called "The Tuckers" and began opening for acts such as Willie Nelson, Neal McCoy, and Tracy Byrd in her teens. However, she truly burst out into the limelight during the 2015 season of the Voice when she was one of the few contestants to receive the "four chair turn" after her tryout. Of the 40,000 people to audition, Holly Tucker progressed all the way to the Top 6 with the help of Blake Shelton, who she chose as her coach. Appearing on the show led to a multitude of new opportunities including performing on The Voice tour, CMA Fest, and over 600 other live performances since. She has just completed her first full-length studio album titled STEEL which was produced in Nashville, TN at Jay Demarcus studio. She also put together her first official tour to go along with the release of the new album and has confirmed over 100 stops across the United States with new dates being added weekly. Gomez writes, "This song is an important one to me. It tells a tale as common as the hearts we break. In the video we shot... we captured some of the surrounding beauty in and outside of where I live in Taos, New Mexico. We filmed in the dead of winter. We wanted real snow and we got it." |
