California-based singer-songwriter Ben Bostick is a rising Americana artist that roots music fans need on their radar. Bostick's eponymous record—his first full-length—was released July 7th and takes a turn into personal territory with a broad range of musical and emotional content from humor to depth to excitement to melancholy. Co-produced with John Would (Warren Zevon, Fiona Apple), the ten-song LP contains all originals written by Bostick and includes “The Juggler” which takes a lighter turn with a story of a ridiculous self-pitying Lothario who tries to juggle three lovers. “It’s a favorite at live shows,” said Bostick, adding, “My girlfriend would like you to know that it’s not autobiographical.” Watch the video for the jaunty tale below. Nashville-based, Los Angeles-bred singer/songwriter Zander Hawley shares the new music video for “Until We Both Get Bored” off his debut full-length, When I Get Blue, which was independently released last month. Filmed over the course of a few weekends in Nashville, director Joey Brodnax made sure to never stop rolling, so as to capture more genuine, behind-the-scenes moments between Zander and his love interest. “We didn’t slate between scenes, we left the shot-lists and bullhorns at home,” Brodnax shares, adding that “many of the shots that made it into the final cut are the moments just before or after we started each scene.” You can watch the video, which vividly and emotionally depicts a break-up below. Cash said further, "I also did it with a great deal of joy, because I love the Word."
