![]() NASHVILLE, TN – After a five-year wait and a multitude of life changes, Scotty McCreery releases his highly anticipated album, Seasons Change, for digital pre-order everywhere today, ahead of its March 16 release on Sony’s Triple Tigers Records – his first album on the label. The project features his current nearly-Top 10-and-climbing radio hit “Five More Minutes,” which People calls an “emotional walk down memory lane.” The 24-year old singer/songwriter has a lot to say on the 11-track album, produced by Rogers (McCreery’s See YouTonight, Brad Paisley, Darius Rucker), Derek Wells (guitarist for Kenny Chesney, Brett Eldridge, Little Big Town), and Aaron Eshuis (producer for Ryan Hurd, songwriter for A Thousand Horses, Joe Nichols, Cole Swindell). With every song co-written by McCreery himself, Seasons Change marks the first time he’s played a hand in writing his entire album. With songs influenced by true-life events that occurred since he released his last album at 19 -- including moving out on his own, going to college, getting robbed at gunpoint, losing his grandfather, changing record labels, releasing a book and proposing to his high school sweetheart -- Seasons Change is a true reflection of where the North Carolina native is in life. Seasons Change Track Listing: 1. “Seasons Change” (Scotty McCreery/James McNair/Tommy Cecil) 2. “Wherever You Are” (Scotty McCreery/Frank Rogers/Dan Isbell) 3. “Boys From Back Home” (Scotty McCreery/Dan Isbell/Jason Gantt) 4. “Five More Minutes” (Scotty McCreery/Frank Rogers/Monty Criswell) 5. “In Between” (Scotty McCreery/Frank Rogers/Jessi Alexander/Jonathan Singleton) 6. “This Is It” (Scotty McCreery/Frank Rogers/Aaron Eshuis) 7. “Wrong Again” (Scotty McCreery/Frank Rogers/Phillip White) 8. “Move It On Out” (Scotty McCreery/Dan Isbell/Aaron Eshuis) 9. “Barefootin’” (Scotty McCreery/Frank Rogers/David Lee Murphy 10. “Still” (Scotty McCreery/Aaron Eshuis) 11. “Home In My Mind” (Scotty McCreery/James McNair/Tommy Cecil) Album bundles are also available on ScottyMcCreery.com including autographed CDs bundled with a personalized video and various merchandise options for pre-order. Built upon intricate guitar embelishments, indie-folk facets and poetically pop melodies, LA River Bend have succeeded in creating an album of happy nostalgia. The four-piece, made up of Nate Weiner (Vocals, Guitar), Emily Elkin (Cello, Vocals), Branden Stroup (Bass, Vocals, Guitar) and Jacob Seldes (Drums) have honored traditions of Americana folk, by building the walls of their epic soundscapes, embracing the dynamics and ultimately developing an aesthetic unique to their own.
The band began life as backing Weiner’s solo album, ‘Ride The Sun’ where the group spent time rehearsing and touring up and down the West Coast. After spending hours recording and mixing tracks for this project, with long time friend Stroup and the addition of Elkin’s string arrangements, LA River Bend was born. With the introduction of their now signature three-part harmonies and Seldes on percussion, the new and improved band mastered their authentically rustic, yet beautifully atmospheric sound. Nate explains, “The addition of Seldes to the band is immeasurable, because I think our sound would have been less dimensional without his style of drumming." ![]() NASHVILLE, Tenn. Instead, Stickley’s Martin churns out a mixture of bluegrass, Chuck Berry, metal, prog, grunge, and assorted other genres—all thoroughly integrated into a personal style,” writes Guitar Player Magazine. Premier Guitar says, “Stickley’s trio… is not a traditional bluegrass group by any means… they are just nimble and ambitious enough to navigate EDM-style breakbeats as effortlessly as the old timey standard ‘Blackberry Blossom.’” “Stickley is a super-resourceful acoustic guitarist who uses the instrument in many surprising ways and whose timing is just flawless. Fiddler Lyndsay Pruett puts deep thought into her flowing solos, plus she adds little flourishes and sudden stops that elevate the music,” proclaims Nashville's Music City Roots’ Craig Havighurst. ![]() Special Guests on New Disc Include Jimmie Vaughan, Z.Z. NEW EP JUST GOT BACK OUT JANUARY 19TH
Have you ever found yourself on the receiving of unsolicited advice from someone of an older generation? That's the story behind Tom Evanchuck's new single "Strange" from his upcoming EP Just Got Back. The harmonica-laden tune finds Evanchuck receiving pearls of wisdom that soon lead him to picturing his own future. "It was written after seeing an old man sitting at bar who was served a PBR before he could even sit down," says Evanchuck. "He just sat there all quaintly sipping his beer with both hands (covered in Band-Aids, hence the line in the song). This past year was a busy one with many weddings in my family and those two scenarios work together in unison for this track. The lyrics sound like words a person might say if they were cornered by a wise old man at a wedding." With his new EP Just Got Back, Tom wanted to come from a more relatable, storyteller position and not so much the "jumping on an old train" subject matter that was prevalent in his previous records. He enlisted a group of talented musicians in the Cleveland area and in one day, they cranked out all 8 tracks. No one other than Evanchuck had even heard the songs before that day, creating a very organic, "in the moment" sound. Pre-order Just Got Back here. |
