Four-time GRAMMY Award winner Steve Wariner will be hitting the road in April, promoting his recently released album, It Ain’t All Bad. Steve has achieved 14 No. 1 hits and nearly three dozen Top Ten hits, creating a concert set-list can be quite the task. This year, Wariner is asking his fans to help choose the songs that he will perform on tour. “I’m always hearing from my fans that they loved all the songs I performed in concert, but they wish I had performed one particular song or another,” said Wariner. “I want to give them a voice in this year’s set list, and hopefully their song will make the cut. I can’t wait to see what they choose!” With more than 50 hit singles to his credit, Wariner has a large selection of songs to choose from. He has written or co-written several hits for other artists, including “Longneck Bottle” for Garth Brooks, “Nothin’ But the Taillights” for Clint Black, and “One Small Miracle” for Bryan White. Voting begins today, Monday, Feb. 3, and will continue through Friday, Feb. 28, 2014. To vote, fans should visit www.SteveWariner.com, go to the “Contact” section, fill out the form, and vote for up to five songs in the body of their message. Only one vote per e-mail address will be allowed. Voting ends midnight central time on Feb. 28. It's a happy Monday when you can stream Eric Church's new album, The Outsiders, in its entirety on NPR.com. We've listened a few times already and have favorites. When you listen you will hear that with this record, Eric has definitely taken it to another level. What do you think? Listen here If you have visited this site before, then you know that Whiskey Myers is our favorite band. Their third album, Early Morning Shakes, is full of impressive musicianship and honest songwriting that makes you feel.
From their website: Available on February 4, 2014 through the band’s own Wiggy Thump imprint, their latest full-length was recorded with noted producer Dave Cobb (whose credits include Jamey Johnson, Jason Isbell, and both Waylon and Shooter Jennings) and represents the culmination of years of dedication, experimentation, and refinement. Visceral and dynamic, the album’s 12 songs encompass an impressive range of perspectives and emotions – while finding the band’s musicianship honed to a razor’s edge. And though Early Morning Shakes is a great step forward creatively, it’s an organic one. As guitarist John Jeffers explains, “Staying true to ourselves and to our music has gotten us to the point we’re at. We really wanted to continue on that same track.” For more information visit www.whiskeymyers.com |
