Scott Brantley, the Georgia-based, fast rising country music artist has had an eventful year. From signing a publishing and artist development deal with Studio Gold, releasing his first single, “Good Thing Going”, to country radio worldwide, recently welcoming new son Whitley into the world with wife Kristen, and now signing an endorsement deal with his favorite apparel company, Southern Sippin’. Scott has long been a fan of Southern Sippin’ merchandise, sporting it throughout his career on stage, during media interviews, and as day to day wear. Southern Sippin’ apparel features their southern lifestyle on T-shirts, hats, and koozies. Using the softest pigment-dyed shirts, they continue to get softer and softer with each wash. Southern Sippin’ apparel can be found in over 100 retailers in the states of Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia. The complete list of retailers can be found at: www.shopsouthernsippin.com “Southern Sippin’ is so honored that Scott Brantley loves our line. Scott is an amazing artist and a great person as well, and we could not be happier that he is taking us along on this ride. We know that everything that is coming his way is due to his determination and hard work. Southern Sippin’ is a family run business from Georgia, and Scott being a Georgia man, just makes for a perfect partnership!” -Nancy Stroud, Southern Sippin’ KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Black Lillies would sure love to have their instruments back, but the Knoxville, Tenn.-based Americana band have been blown away by the outpouring of support they’ve received following the theft of their van, trailer and gear early Monday while they slept in a Houston, Texas, motel. The unexpected silver lining from losing one-of-a-kind vintage instruments, personal belongings and merchandise including copies of their October release, Hard to Please (only their van was recovered), has been a massive show of love from fans, fellow players and others sympathetic to their plight. In fact, the band gained 1,500 new social media fans in a 24-hour period. As word spread of the theft, social media took over; the band’s Facebook post went viral and a fan-requested donation site raised more than $40,000 in two days to help cover substantial costs not borne by insurance — including the true value of their instruments. |
