ASHVILLE, Tenn. – (April 22, 2015) – Award winning songwriter/performer Keith Anderson is back with brand new music, a brand new perspective and a brand new tour. The man behind "Pickin’ Wildflowers" will release his I’LL BRING THE MUSIC EP to iTunes May 12. “After taking a break when my mother passed away, it gave me a chance to focus on my growing family and appreciate the blessings in my life. I used that fire to create this music. I can’t wait for people to hear it,” explains Anderson. I’LL BRING THE MUSIC Track Listing: 1. “I’LL BRING THE MUSIC” (Keith Anderson / Craig Wiseman) 2. “WILD GIRLS” (Keith Anderson / David Lee Murphy / George Ducas) 3. “HARD TO GET OVER” (Keith Anderson / Kyle Jacobs / Billy Montana) 4. “TIGHT WHITE WIFE BEATER” (Acoustic) (Keith Anderson / Jeffrey Steele) 5. “YOUR TOWN FOR NOW” (Keith Anderson / Dave Berg / Rivers Rutherford) 6. “YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE” (Keith Anderson / Tim Nichols / Jason Sellers) A native of Miami, Ok, Anderson has co-written hits for other artists, most notably "Lost In This Moment", the No. 1 smash for Big & Rich which garnered him a CMA and ACM Song of the Year nomination. His debut CD, Three Chord Country and American Rock & Roll, was certified GOLD and garnered two Top 10 hits (accompanied by two No. 1 music videos), "Pickin’ Wildflowers," and "Every Time I Hear Your Name." This success prompted music trades Billboard and Radio & Records to name him country music’s No. 1 New Male Artist of 2005 and the top new solo country artist of the year. Anderson’s sophomore CD garnered the biggest hit of his career, “I Still Miss You”, which peaked at #2 and another Top 25 hit, “Sunday Morning In America.” The seasoned performer will take his hits on the road as he kicks off his I’LL BRING THE MUSIC TOUR on the west coast, including a stop at the Stagecoach Music Festival. Kicker® Audio will present the tour that will have Anderson playing fairs, festivals, clubs and theatres across the country. For a list of all dates, please visit www.keithanderson.com. “I’ve been a fan of Kicker Audio ever since I went to college at Oklahoma State University located in Stillwater, OK. I’m proud to represent a company from Stillwater, and one whose products I use on a daily basis.” says Anderson. Playback Records country artist Claire Petrie’s latest single, (C’est la Vie) You Never Can Tell, is now at country radio. Originally sung by the pioneer of rock and roll Chuck Berry and by Grammy-award winning country icon Emmylou Harris, Petrie put her own original contemporary country flair to this song and is her debut release to country radio. She is receiving high praise from radio and industry executives across the country, commenting on her vocal delivery and fresh sound. “Newcomer Petrie attacks this Chuck Berry/Emmylou Harris chestnut with gusto. Whoever that is working out on the squeeze box and the fiddle also do an outstanding job.” – Robert K. Oermann, renowned music critic, Music Row “I really loved listening to her album, especially the song The One. That song is sweet and remains faithful to the Celtic roots, but takes on the character and flavor of Nashville. It’s rocking. What a talented artist!” – Ralph Murphy, Vice President of International Membership at ASCAP Nashville C’est la Vie) You Never Can Tell is off her newest album, The One, which was produced by country music industry veteran, Jack Gale. It includes 11 tracks that profiles her impressive vocal range and pushes the boundaries of both ends of her musical scale. Her ability to belt out an up-tempo tune with both power and precision is evident on the debut single. With a musical mission to bring passion and purpose to the genre she loves, Claire has crafted her signature sound when she was on tour with her family. Raised in a large musical family in Saratoga Springs, New York, and currently in West Palm Beach, FL, she was born to musical parents who instilled a love of melody, harmony, rhythm and rhyme deep within her. DEAD ROCK WEST--the California vocal duo of Cindy Wasserman and Frank Lee Drennen—have announced the Friday, July 17 release of their third album IT’S EVERLY TIME! viaAngel Flight Recording Co. It is the duo’s 13-song tribute to the great Everly Brothers and was produced by Grammy-winning producer Mark Linett (Brian Wilson, Los Lobos, Rickie Lee Jones and Randy Newman). The duo will launch their Los Angeles Hotel Café residency Thursday, April 30, with subsequent shows set for Wednesday, June 3 and Thursday, July 16. IT’S EVERLY TIME! is an authentic appreciation of iconic Everly Brothers standards such as “Cathy’s Clown,” and lesser-known treasures like “June is as Cold as December.” DEAD ROCK WEST recorded the album live with a band--DJ Bonebrake (drums), Dave Gleason (acoustic rhythm guitar), Elliott Easton (lead electric guitar), multi-instrumentalists Phil Parliapianoand David J. Carpenter--as well as special guests: The Section Quartet, guitarist Dave Alvin and bassist Rob Wasserman (Cindy’s brother). The magic was captured at Linett’s Your Place or Mine Recording, with additional vocals by Wasserman and Drennen recorded live at East West Studios in the very rooms where the Everlys and Beach Boys once worked (and are still equipped with microphones said to have been used by Frank Sinatra and Elvis Presley). “When Frank suggested we record a whole record of Everly Brothers songs with Mark Linett who’d worked extensively with the Beach Boys, I was beside myself,’ says Wasserman. “Words can’t express the joy. It was as if a lifetime of studying harmony all made sense in that moment.” “Much of the equipment we used is from a bygone era,” explains Drennen. “Microphones from the ‘40s, preamps the Doors used on L.A. Woman, Fairchild compressors, and two-inch recording tape.” “Cindy and I had our own room where two microphones were set up,” continues Drennen. “Mark had shrugged at the idea of us doing vocals live, but I confidently told him we would, though I certainly didn’t know we could. I especially loved singing all the slow, sad ballads.” Following the sessions for IT’S EVERLY TIME!, the duo returned to the road to support their 2010 album Bright Morning Stars. The collection of California spirituals and old-time gospel was produced by Peter Case and featured contributions by John Doe and Exene Cervenka, the artists Wasserman primarily tours with as a vocalist. But real life tragedy intervened when Drennen's mother fell ill followed by the sudden loss of his brother, sidelining him from road work, and the release of IT'S EVERLY TIME! was understandably put on hold. And yet, the road keeps calling back Frank and Cindy to sing together the harmonies they love. Launching a new label, Angel Flight Recording Co. to celebrate the long-awaited release of IT’S EVERLY TIME!, DEAD ROCK WEST not only takes charge of its catalog, they’ve reignited the creative vocal spark that defines who they are as artists. “I believe in every song," says Drennen. "This was much more than a vocal exercise or experiment. When we all filed into the control room and Mark pushed play, everyone could instantly feel the magic of that first take.” That they were able to sustain the feeling over 15 songs is a testament not only to the endurance of the Everlys’ catalog, but to the deep commitment to song interpretation demonstrated by DEAD ROCK WEST. Track listing for IT’S EVERLY TIME!: 1. Leave My Girl Alone 2. So Sad (To Watch Good Love Go Bad) 3. (Why Am I) Chained To A Memory 4. It Only Costs A Dime 5. Like Strangers 6. Cathy's Clown 7. June Is As Cold As December 8. Gone Gone Gone 9. It's All Over 10. The Price Of Love 11. I Used To Love Her 12. And I'll Go 13. Music legend Willie Nelson is pleased to announce a unique American enterprise: Willie's Reserve, a cannabis brand reflecting Nelson's own longstanding experience and his commitment to regulated, natural, and high quality strains of marijuana in U.S. legal markets. As one journalist has already noted, "The marijuana world is about to get its first connoisseur brand, edging it farther from an illegal substance and closer to the realm of fine wines." Willie's Reserve is an extension of Willie's passion and appreciation for the many varieties and range of the plant's qualities. Some of the best master growers in America will collaborate, along with Willie, to define quality standards so that fans can expect clean and consistent products. Willie's Reserve will be grown, distributed and sold by local businesses in Colorado and Washington, and will become available in other markets when state regulations allow. Somewhat controversially, Willie has spent a lifetime as an outspoken supporter of cannabis for personal use and for industrial hemp production. Building on Willie's community of friends and expertswho share his values, Willie's Reserve will seek ways to further support and celebrate aspects of the singer-songwriter's journey with cannabis. Willie and his family, and a few close friends developed the brand with emphasis on environmental and social issues, to lend support to the gradual end to marijuana prohibition across America. "I am looking forward to working with the best growers in Colorado and Washington to make sure our product is the best on the market," stated Willie Nelson. Collaboration is at the center of plans for Willie's Reserve. Willie has been an outspoken supporter of the front line efforts of store owners, growers, and citizens who have been pioneers and advocates of cannabis policy improvements. The company will work with businesses that are making smart and sustainable choices for the environment, have demonstrated leadership in their markets, and are committed to encouraging safe, legal use. Seeing the power of legalization, regulation and taxation to impact how Americans view cannabis is a life's work realized for Willie. As many have noted, his involvement is no surprise, and in the end, it's no surprise that Willie's Reserve will reflect his life. Kingsley's love for Country music has continued to give him both a vast, loyal audience and legendary status within the industry. Kingsley’s career entered new territory in 2006 with the launch of Bob Kingsley’s Country Top 40, a show KCCS solely owned and distributed, partnering with Dial Global, now Westwood One, for national ad sales. His wins as the CMA's National Broadcast Personality of the Year awards in 2001 and 2003 and his 2006 Academy of Country Music Award for On-Air Personality-National showed his impressive staying power, bookending over 40 years of industry honors that began with 1966 and 1967 trophies as the ACM’s Radio Personality of the Year, during his tenure on-air at KGBS in Los Angeles. Bob Kingsley’s Country Top 40 can be heard currently on more than 350 radio stations around the world. A proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Bob has a passion for military-related and other charitable causes. This year the Clearwater Festival is set for June 20th and 21st in Croton on Hudson at beautiful Croton Point Park along the Hudson River. It will be two days of wonderful music, vendors and exhibitions. This year's artist round up is full of incredible performers including Todd Snider, The Mavericks, Neko Case, David Crosby, Citizen Cope, Los Lobos, The Lone Bellow and many more. For tickets and more information visit the official website. From the website: Back in the mid-sixties, after centuries of accumulated sewage pollution and industrial dumping of toxic chemicals, the Hudson River, like many of America’s most important estuaries, was declared “dead”. The river’s fragile ecological system was devastated. Not a single fish was found in many areas, and the level of commercial fishing had dropped so dramatically as to be regarded as nonexistent. Recognizing this incredible social and environmental tragedy, Pete Seeger, a popular musician and respected activist, decided “to build a boat to save the river”. Holding small, fundraising river concerts throughout the Hudson River Valley, he literally passed his banjo among the crowd, collecting contributions to build the elegant tall ship that would become a symbol of environmental advocacy, the flagship of the American Environmental Movement, the sloop Clearwater. This nomadic folk festival picnic continued to travel through out the Hudson River Valley, then in 1978 the gathering set down roots at a historic river park, Croton Point, on the Hudson River and was coined The Great Hudson River Revival. However, ten years later, due to pollution problems with the landfill at the park, the festival was forced to move from the river. This move resulted in a decade of exile inland at a suburban college campus. In 1998, however, the Clearwater board of directors pushed to move the festival on or near the Hudson River, and a year later the Clearwater Festival returned to its spiritual home, the shores of the Hudson River at Croton Point Park. Since the 1960s, the Clearwater Festival has grown into the country’s largest annual environmental celebration, its music, dance and storytelling, education and activism attracting thousands of people of all ages to the shores of the Hudson River.
