(Nashville, Tenn. – May 12, 2015) – Country artist Amber Hayes will host her second annual Sweet Sunday Singin’ with Amber Hayes and Friends show on Sunday, June 14, 2015. NASHVILLE, TN (May 11, 2015) – Money might not bring you happiness, but for Chris Janson, it can buy him a boat and the truck to pull it. That real-life sentiment is the fuel propelling Janson’s hot new single, “Buy Me A Boat,” which was the most added song on Country Aircheck (MediaBase) last week.  “Buy Me A Boat” debuted on the Billboard Country Singles (BDS) chart last week and continues to rise as the most added new song this week.

Written by The Cains and produced by Daniel Agee and Becki DeVries, “Journey’s End” is a sentimental ballad about love, family and hope. The single is the leadoff track form The Cains’ forthcoming self-titled EP, which is set to release this summer. 

The group first hit the Country music scene in 2014, with debut single, “Be Yourself With Me,” which garnered the trio a debut Top 50 single and MusicRow Magazine’s DisCovery Award. During their successful radio tour, they were praised by fans and critics alike for their “pitch perfect harmonies,” “refreshing dynamism” and “real, organic vibe.”

(Nashville, Tenn. – May 8, 2015) Singer, songwriter, guitarist and modern day blues and americana artist, Keb’ Mo’ was awarded the Contemporary Blues Album award at the 36th annual Blues Music Awards for his current album, BLUESAmericana. The awards, which are presented by The Blues Foundation, took place in Memphis on Thursday, May 7 at Memphis’ Cook Convention Center.  The Blues Music Awards are universally recognized as the highest accolade afforded blues music performers. The annual awards ceremony is the premier event for blues professionals, musicians, and fans from all over the world.  The award marks the eleventh honor Keb’ Mo’ has received from the Blues Foundation. Keb’ Mo’s 12th studio album, BLUESAmericana, was released on Kind of Blue Music on April 22, 2014. Following its release, the album topped the Soundscan Blues Album chart and spent multiple weeks in the #1 position. BLUESAmericana became one of the top-selling blues albums of 2014 and garnered three 2015 Grammy Award nominations. 

Recorded in Nashville, and produced by Keb’ Mo’ and Casey Wasner, the album features ten tracks, nine of which were co-written by Keb’, and has been described as having a mix of personal, raw honesty blended with folksy, upbeat roots rock-type material that is distinctly Keb’ Mo’. Due to its popularity, the album was later released on vinyl.

(Nashville, Tenn. – May 6, 2015) – JB and the Moonshine Band are taking a stand on their 2nd Amendment rights and displaying a firm position on the controversial issue with their new single, “Shotgun, Rifle, and a .45.”

The single, written by band front man JB Patterson, is a lyrical statement supporting one’s individual right to carry a firearm and the right to bear arms. The group is very outspoken about their stance on the topic, and felt a calling to share their views on 2nd Amendment rights with Country music fans across the country.

Of the new track, JB Patterson comments, “We believe that the price of liberty is eternal vigilance, meaning we can’t take our freedoms and liberties for granted. We must watch over the basic rights we have and take appropriate measures to ensure they aren’t undermined. ‘Shotgun, Rifle, and a .45’ is our attempt to emphasize the need for such vigilance, with regards to the 2nd Amendment to the Constitution of the United States of America. The song is about our inalienable right to bear arms, but perhaps more importantly it’s about our responsibility to be aware of (and speak out against) any power that seeks to take away our basic freedoms.”

The self-produced track was recorded at Red Wasp Studios, housed in Patterson's 100-year-old log cabin near Tyler, TX, and will hit Texas radio on May 26. "Shotgun, Rifle, and a .45" will also be available for download on iTunes, Amazon and other major digital retailers the same day. 

“Shotgun, Rifle, and a .45” is the debut single off the band’s forthcoming album, Mixtape, which will be released June 30, 2015. The release will mark the follow-up to the band’s previous albums, Ain’t Goin’ Back To Jail and Beer for Breakfast.

No stranger to album success, JB and the Moonshine Band’s 2012 release, Beer for Breakfast, was named one of the Top 5 ‘Country Albums of the Year’ by Rolling Stone Magazine. The band’s previous releases produced six Top 10 singles and three consecutive No.1’s on the Texas Billboard Chart. Additionally, JB and the Moonshine Band continue to tour heavily, and are slated to play the 1000th live performance of their career this year. The past two years, the band averaged 175 live tour dates per year in over 40 states, all while writing and producing the new album.

JB and the Moonshine Band formed in 2009 when singer-songwriter JB Patterson decided to give up his advertising career and start a band. When JB coordinated an open call audition in Tyler, TX, only three people showed up. Coincidentally, once he heard them play, he realized that he couldn’t have hand picked a better band himself. The four-piece band is comprised of drummer Gabe Guevara, guitarist Hayden McMullen, bassist Chris Floresand lead singer JB Patterson, who also plays guitar. The newly formed ensemble wasted no time and threw together a PA, rented a U-Haul van and started taking any gigs they could find throughout East Texas.

After a happenstance encounter, Austin based singer/songwriters Miranda Dawn and Chris Hawkes joined together to formed the male/female fronted band Dawn and Hawkes. This folk-rock/americana duo first appeared in front of a large audience at the Kerrville Folk Festival, where Dawn was awarded as a finalist in the New Folk competition for emerging songwriters. Within a month, they had recorded and released their self-produced EP, GOLDEN HEART, featuring signature harmonies and an indie-folk sound influenced by Americana, country-rock, and classic Beatlesque-pop.

Last year started with a bang. Dawn and Hawkes wowed THE VOICE hosts and critics at their audition for season 6. TVLine’s Senior Editor, Michael Slezak wrote,  “Dawn & Hawkes: The Beatles’ “I’ve Just Seen a Face” | Mr. Levine went a tad overboard with his “favorite performance I’ve ever seen on The Voice” critique…but that doesn’t mean this romantic couple didn’t slay the Beatles-sized dragon that was standing in front of ‘em. There was so much warmth and complexity to the blend of their voices, I could’ve basked in two hours of tunes from ‘em!”   
 
What is now a full-time partnership - professional and personal (they are newly engaged!), began with modest expectations. "I was out listening to the blues at a little juke-joint in East Austin and asked this pretty girl to dance" says Hawkes, "We were having a good time dancing and found out we were both singer-songwriters." Dawn continues the story saying, "Our timing and rhythm were just in-sync and when we added harmonies, songs, and guitar playing, it all went together - like dancing."

After spending much of 2014 on the road which included a hometown debut at Austin’s ACL Festival ‘14, the two have spent a good bit of the new year at home in Austin wrapping up production on their first full length album which is expected to release later this year.

Music fans worldwide have a new tourism destination with today’s launch of the Americana Music Triangle, a preservation project along a 1,500-mile stretch of highway that birthed nine uniquely American genres of music --- Blues, Jazz, Country, Rock & Roll, R&B/Soul, Gospel, Southern Gospel, Cajun/Zydeco and Bluegrass.
 
Spanning more than 30 communities along the “Gold Record Road” (the Natchez Trace Parkway, I-10, Highway 90, Highway 61 and I-40), the Americana Music Triangle is a milestone collaboration of cultural attractions across the South. The ambitious project marks the culmination of more than three years of work by a multi-state team of historians, musicians, tourism professionals and digital media experts.
 
The mission: Launch a global grassroots movement for American music tourism and build an online community dedicated to the Triangle’s culture and history. An online ‘webguide’ establishes the Triangle’s digital footprint. Social media channels will educate and inspire a global audience with an online marketing campaign. Collateral materials and merchandise will be distributed in partnership with state and local tourism agencies across the region.
