Nashville, TN (May, 2016 PR) - Hannah Ellis performed her poignant song “Officer Down” during National Police Week held at the Capitol in Washington, DC on Sunday, May 15th.  The song, written by Ellis and co-writers Steven Dale Jones and Justin Ebach, is a tribute to her cousin Daniel Ellis who was killed in the line of duty in Richmond, KY last year and written from the perspective of his wife.  Daniel Ellis along with 251 other officers were honored by having their name added to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington, DC.

“Being asked to sing at the Fallen Peace Officers Memorial service is an honor in and of itself, but especially considering what my family has been through this past year with losing our own Officer, it is something I will never forget,” says Ellis.  “Having the opportunity to sing a song that's so personal to me and feel it resonate with so many people who have similar stories was a very moving experience.

It was an emotional day for Ellis, who after performing, was given a memorial coin from the brother of a fallen officer from Crawford, NY. 

​ASHEVILLE, NC (Press Release) -- Jon Stickley Trio is excited to embark on tour for a plethora of shows this festival season! They have stops throughout the country including the White Squirrel Festival in North Carolina and Rooster Walk in Martinsville, Virginia this May. They kick off June in Nashville on their way St. Louis and then Colorado’s Front Range. Mid-June brings them back to the Southeast and they finish up the month at ROMP in Owensboro, Kentucky. In July, the Trio simmers in the Carolinas before making appearances at Red Wing Roots in Virginia and North West String Summit in Oregon. Mid-July sees their return to Colorado to the Dolores River Brewery and they close out the month in New Mexico and Texas before making their way back East in August with a notable show at Kennedy Center’s Millennium Stage in Washington, DC. Jamie Lynn announced today that she will be releasing a new single later in June titled "Sleepover" co-written by Jamie Lynn, Liz Rose, Tina Parol and Corey Crowder. The mid-tempo song tells the story of wanting an old-fashioned relationship and taking it slow. Official release date, single artwork and a clip of the audio will be released soon!

Nashville, TN (May 25, 2016 PR) – Last night (5/24), the Emmy-nominated, groundbreaking online music series Skyville Live amped it up with a mesmerizing, guitar-fueled concert anchored by legendary ZZ Top frontman Billy F Gibbons. The unique live performance also featured country music rocker Frankie Ballard, internationally-acclaimed guitar slinger Orianthi, soulful powerhouse ZZ Ward, and Grammy-nominated songwriter and musician Mike Henderson.

Gibbons immediately set the tone for the show when he opened with “Waitin' for the Bus" and "Jesus Just Left Chicago,” followed by “Got Love If You Want It” and “Treat Her Right.”

​Mikko Joensuu is the kind of singer-songwriter who’ll easily stand out from the crowd. His debut album ‘Amen 1’ taps into the American folk music tradition, and it is all about deep and healing songs which at times give the listener an impression of spending time in quiet, intimate surroundings with people like Townes Van Zandt, Lee Hazlewood, Josh T. Pearson or Leonard Cohen. Arrangements are raw but beautiful - mostly just the piano and guitar accompany Mikko’s voice, with pedal steel guitars and soothing string sections paying a visit every now and then.
 
Mikko Joensuu’s grand solo debut is three albums long, and with part two appearing in late 2016 and the third instalment coming next spring, it forms the Amen Trilogy. Joensuu, who’s spent some years in the proverbial wilderness after the split of his earlier combo Joensuu 1685, comments on the creation process of his magnum opus:
