(Nashville, Tenn. – May 2, 2018 Press Release) - 2018 has been a year of success so far for Country artist, Tim Elliott. Since the release of his most recent single, “I Got You,” the two-time North Carolina Artist of the Year has been receiving significant Country radio airplay. Just last week, Elliott hit a new milestone, breaking Top 40 on the MusicRow Chart. Elliott looks back on the day he wrote the hit song, “When we sat down to write that day, we hoped to come up with a song that could connect with folks on an everyday basis. We thought something as simple as letting someone you love know ‘don’t worry I got you’ could make their day a little better. I never dreamed it would be my first Top 40. “

Next week the band return to perform on Later With Jools Holland on BBC Two. Dawn Landes is one of the most fearlessly innovative musicians working today, but the songwriter has made potentially her boldest turn yet with ‘Meet Me At The River’ (August 10 / Yep Roc Records). The twelve-song collection results from an unexpected partnership with Nashville legend Fred Foster, whose list of production credits includes Roy Orbison’s “Hey Pretty Woman,” Dolly Parton’s debut album and Kris Kristofferson’s first #1. Teaming with the Country Music Hall of Famer was far from a predictable move for Landes, whose previous collaborators include Sufjan Stevens, Nico Muhly, Norah Jones, Will Oldham and Andrew Bird. Despite shaping up as something of a musical odd couple, Landes and Foster bring the best of their respective worlds to ‘Meet Me At The River,’ creating something a more conventional pairing could never touch. Listen to "Glow" HERE Singer-songwriter/guitarist Brooke Annibale will release her third full-length album Hold To The Light on June 8th. The new record marks Annibale's return following her 2015 critically acclaimed album The Simple Fear and features several major departures in terms of both songwriting and production. Annibale sheds a few layers of her folk-acoustic skin and introduces a new indie-pop direction offering a fusion of textured electronic and traditional instrumentation centered around Brooke's stunning voice and keen, soulful lyricism. Today, she released her radiant new single "Glow," debuted yesterday by Billboard who called it "another musical sea change that's echoed throughout Hold To The Light." "I think the mission was just to try new things and see what could come of it," Annibale told Billboard. "I started writing ["Glow"] as a soft little just basic acoustic song. Then when [producer Sam Kassirer and I] started working on it together it totally evolved, but it still sort of maintained that identity of a summer, light feel. We just took it in a different direction." |
