I don't know where this falls on the musical spectrum, but I listened and really liked it. Check it out. (Press Release) Alan Doyle, actor, producer, author, and best known as lead singer for Newfoundland’s beloved Great Big Sea for over 20 years, has announced new U.S. tour dates for 2016. A tireless live performer, Doyle affirms, “I always want people to have the greatest night of their life when the house lights go down.” Check out the list of dates below. Earlier this year Doyle released his second solo album, So Let’s Go. The record can be heard streaming via Allmusic, who writes, "The album's 10 tracks span uptempo barroom stompers to sweet ballads, boosted by layered vocals, heaps of acoustic instruments and a prevailing 'we're all in this together' mentality that runs throughout the record." So Let's Go is definitely an album for celebrating the good times.
