“Combs’s voice is so evocative on All These Dreams, and the settings he creates with his collaborators…are so rich, it’s a damn good thing his lyrics live up to the presentation. This might be the Americana album of 2015.”— NPR Music “Drawing comparisons to the likes of Kris Kristofferson and early Ryan Adams, Mr. Combs is an adept writer, his lines catching small, resonant details and he possesses a strong yet understated voice that carries them across. His excellent second album, All These Dreams, shows great promise.” — The Wall Street Journal Following the success of last year's All These Dreams, Nashville singer-songwriter Andrew Combs has a packed tour schedule set for the first quarter of 2016. After dates with Kacey Musgraves this month, Combs supports fellow Nashvillian Anderson East on his February and March tour. He'll then fly to Europe to open for Eric Church on a run of shows in Sweden, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands and the UK, culminating at London's O2 Arena on March 13th; Church hand-picked Combs for these dates. Andrew Combs' celebrated full-length All These Dreams was recently named as one of the "Best Country Albums of 2015" by Rolling Stone Country. All These Dreams was released to overwhelming acclaim on Coin Records/Thirty Tigers (iTunes). Of the music, NPR Music’s Ann Powers praises, “The arrangements on All These Dreams have a retro quality, evoking 1970s Laurel Canyon and 1980s Austin as well as 1960s Music Row. With the singer’s sagebrush-rough but always carefully calibrated vocals at the center, the album works on one level as a history of the troubadour figure from the classic-rock era onward, with Combs as charming antihero,” while the Boston Globe included Combs in their “10 bands and solo artists to watch in 2015,” asserting, “…an elegant singer and songwriter, spinning gold from tales about heartache and redemption and spirituality—all with a tasteful patina of pop and soul.”
Combs' new single, “Part Time Lovers (Full Time Fools)“ can now be heard/shared via SoundCloud.
