(Press Release) Anna Roberts-Gevalt and Elizabeth LaPrelle have made a name for themselves around the world, bringing bright new light to Appalachian old-time story and song. Originally released in 2012 and out of print until now, Sun to Sun - the duo's stunning debut - includes 13 ballads, lullabies and dance tunes from the Southern tradition. This 2016 reissue features remastered audio, and as always, gorgeous ballad singing and banjo playing from Elizabeth and impressive vocals, fiddle, banjo and guitar from Anna. The CD also includes a video of "The Lost Gander," a shining example of one of their signature "crankie" performances.

Anna & Elizabeth’s self-titled second album, which features Grammy nominee and legendary folk singer Alice Gerrard, was released in March 2015 on Free Dirt Records. Their music has been featured on NPR Music’s “Tiny Desk Concert” series and “Folk Alley,” Vice, The Huffington Post, and No Depression. They continue to tour widely including performances on premier NPR programs "Mountain Stage" and "Folk Alley," and appearances at the 2016 Cambridge and Newport folk festivals.
