Their new album, The Howl & The Growl, was released at AmericanaFest in September by DC-based label, Across the Aisle Music. It was recorded and produced by veteran alt-country rock legend, Eric Ambel (Del Lords, Bottle Rockets, Steve Earle) and features a muscular vintage sound, straight out of 1974 Muscle Shoals.
 
The album’s first single, “Whole Lotta Folsom,” a mash-up of Johnny Cash and Led Zeppelin, received heavy airplay on Sirius XM’s Outlaw Country station, vaulted the LP onto the Americana charts (peaking at #48 on the Alternate Root chart) and garnered airplay on nearly 100 radio stations and Internet outlets worldwide.  The videos for the album boast over 45,000 views and counting.  An animated version of the “Whole Lotta Folsom” video is being premiered by Elmore Magazine this week. (Press Release)— Benefit-concert producers the Wild Honey Foundation will present a deep playlist of Beach Boys'songs from 1967-1977 by a star-studded house band and guest singers. The event, which will benefit the Autism Think Tank & The Children's Music Fund, will take place Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 8 p.m., at the historic Alex Theatre, 216 N. Brand Blvd. in downtown Glendale, Calif.

Having taken its name from the classic Beach Boys record of 1967, Wild Honey is returning to its Beach Boy roots (including a 1994 Brian Wilson tribute with Brian performing, and a 1996 celebration of the Pet Sounds and Friends LPs) with an exploration of the band’s post-Pet Sounds work — from 1967’s Smiley Smile through the underappreciated Love You from 1977.  After three sold-out Beatles-tribute benefit events in as many years, the Wild Honey Orchestra and guest vocalists will explore the brilliance of Beach Boys classics like “Good Vibrations,” “Heroes and Villains,” “Sail On Sailor,” and “Surf’s Up” alongside underdog gems from Smiley Smile, Wild Honey, Friends, 20/20, Sunflower, Surf’s Up, Holland, Carl and the Passions – So Tough, Love You, and more. NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Historic RCA Studio A will see a changing of the guard in spring 2016, with platinum-selling artist/composer Ben Folds handing over the keys to the landmark studio to respected producer Dave Cobb.
 
Folds has had a 14-year affiliation with the studio dating back to 2002 when he began leasing the space for his personal recording. In 2009, under the banner of Grand Victor Sound, Folds opened the studio to other artists after making new investments in equipment and other upgrades.
 
Most recently, Studio A served as the go-to recording destination for Chris Stapleton, winner of the 2015 Country Music Association awards for best male vocalist, new artist of the year, and album of the year for “Traveller.” Cobb served as the producer on that album.

LOS ANGELES, Calif. (Press Release)– When Bruce Springsteen takes his E Street Band on the road this year, he will have his trusted guitarist Nils Lofgren again by his side. For more than 30 years, Lofgren has handled guitar duties for Springsteen — first asSteven Van Zandt’s replacement in 1984, and then remaining after Van Zandt’s return in the late ’90s. “It’s very exciting for me to be out again with E Street,” Lofgren confides. “It’s always an honor to play with them and to be out promoting the great Ties That Bind: The River box set.”
