AUSTIN, Texas, February 19 (Press Release) - It's not often a well-known singer/songwriter takes to the world of computer games to debut his latest album, but Shooter Jennings will be doing exactly that on Monday, February 22 when he raises the curtain on his latest album, Countach (for Giorgo). The album will be unveiled inside the virtual world of Shroud of the Avatar™ from legendary game designer Richard Garriott (aka Lord British) and Austin game developer, Portalarium®. An avid gamer, Jennings' new album will be released on limited edition pink vinyl February 26, and on all other formats March 22, 2016. 

Jennings' childhood included many hours of playing Richard Garriott's  Ultima games and Ultima Online. "As I got older, I played every single Ultima game that was released," reminisced Jennings. "I even poisoned the bread in Ultima IX. Then Ultima Online took me and my friends to another world, allowing us to live a real alternate life. What a brilliant development!"

Singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist Sean Watkins has long been known for his work as one-third of the Grammy Award-winning trio Nickel Creek and, more recently, for helming the itinerant and genre-hopping ensemble Watkins Family Hour with his sister Sara.  However, in the last year he has more assertively - and impressively - taken on the role of solo artist.  On March 18, Sean will release his new album What To Fear via Thirty Tigers, a follow-up to 2014's acclaimed All I Do Is Lie, which had been his first solo record in nearly a decade.  Today, Consequence of Sound debuted his new single "Keep Your Promises II."

Teddy and Kelly first sang together on a George Jones track at LA's Club Largo in 2011. It was love at first note and not long after, they embarked on a bi-coastal musical relationship (she in Los Angeles, he in New York City) writing the songs that would become Little Windows along with partner Bill DeMain. Inspired by the Everly Brothers, Buddy Holly, and Sam Cooke, the ten songs that comprise the album explore the joy and sorrows of love and the vagaries of the human heart. About the new single, Teddy offered "'Never Knew You Loved Me Too' is a song about missed opportunities. Two friends who could have been more but never spoke up.  Maybe they didn't get drunk together enough. That usually does it."

Nashville, TN – Couchville Sessions, the new album from venerable Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Darrell Scott will be released on May 13th via Full Light Records. Ever the unconventional artist, Scott has always forged his own path. He has penned hit songs for mainstream artists, and has had songs covered by over 70 others spanning from from Keb Mo’ to Mary Gauthier. In 2012 Scott recorded and toured as part of Robert Plant’s brilliant Band Of Joy, gaining him even more respect and admiration from a wider range of musicians in broader genres. Couchville Sessions is Scott’s first solo album since Long Ride Home in 2012.

Scott’s approach to making music parallels the way he also has chosen to live. Currently making his home outside of Nashville, on the Cumberland Plateau, he focuses on a sustainable lifestyle, heating with wood, utilizing solar energy and growing his food. The fourteen songs on Couchville Sessions are a natural and inevitable product of this pure and unapologetic approach to making music and living life.  

The material on the album is comprised of mostly Darrell Scott originals, mixed with a few carefully chosen nods to “the masters” including Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, and Townes Van Zandt. Scott tackles profound issues - demise of relationships in “Time To Go Away”, mortality “It’s Another Day To Live And Die” and depression in “Another Grey Morning” (James Taylor), but delivers them in such a way that there’s a sense and light and comfort in this collection. 

The musicians gathered together for this recording are a hand-picked group of virtuosos including acclaimed English musician Danny Thompson on bass, percussionist Kenny Malone, steel guitar wiz Dan Dunmore, and Bill Payne (Little Feat/The Doobie Brothers) on piano and organ. Special guest appearances include vocals by Peter Rowan, John Cowan, and a rare narration by Guy Clark.
