NASHVILLE, Tenn. – (Sept. 10, 2015) – Rising country duo Haley & Michaels will make its national television debut Sept. 11 on NBC’s Today – at the special invitation of co-host Hoda Kotb. The duo, comprised of Shannon Haley and Ryan Michaels, announced the appearance Friday, Sept. 4, 2015 on SiriusXM’s "The Highway Happy Hour with Buzz Brainard" – a show that is meaningful to the duo as they premiered the single on the "Happy Hour" in May 2015. Since the single’s SiriusXM debut, Haley & Michaels have been overwhelmed by the fan reaction and support. Fans throughout the country have contacted the recently married duo to share the ways the song has been part of their wedding stories. “Knowing that people have incorporated this song into their special days is incredibly moving,” Haley expressed. “It’s always touching to know that our music is connecting with others, but to see that couples feel compelled to have this song be part of their wedding day – a song that we used at our wedding, as well – makes it that much more meaningful.” The song resulted from Haley & Michaels writing their vows and became the song that played as Haley walked down the aisle during the duo’s May nuptials in Northern California. On July 30, Kotb suggested “Giving It All (To You)” to viewers during the iHoda segment, playing a snippet of the song and even singing along on air. Now, at Kotb’s request, the duo will play it live on air during the fourth hour of Today. The video, which is available today exclusively on Entertainment TonightOnline, was filmed at Mountain Winery in Saratoga, Calif. with award-winning director Shane Drake at the helm. The couple returned to the winery just months after saying, “I Do” to film their video, which features a compilation of footage from their wedding day interspersed throughout. Aaron Einhouse, singer-songwriter, blue collar troubadour (and once again new daddy), is set to return to the studio in October to work on his fourth album and he is asking for your help to do it! He writes on his Kickstarter page " I am super serious when I say that I fully expect this to be our breakout record." The new album, which includes co-writes with Johnny Chops and Hal Ketchum, will be recorded at Panhandle House in Denton with Erik Herbst who has produced records for some of the biggest names in the Texas/RedDirt scene, as well as national touring acts. Einhouse is offering some pretty cool rewards for backing the record including handwritten lyrics, going out in Austin, having him cook you dinner and spending the day in the recording studio. Nashville, TN…September 8, 2015…Four years in the making, Josh Thompson’s long awaited passion project, Change: The Lost Record, Volume One is available for digital pre-order starting today, exclusively via iTunes. Fans who order the new album before its release will receive an instant download of “Same Ol’ Plain Ol’ Me,” a song that describes Thompson’s perfectly honest nature in the lyrics “You ain’t gotta look too hard to see, I’m still the same ol’ plain ol’ me.” Change: The Lost Record, Volume One will release October 9th with partner ole Digital/The Orchard. Loved by his fans for his blue-collar, fist-pumpin’ attitude and fierce performances, singer songwriter Josh Thompson has waited for the right moment to release the deeply personal record on his own terms. Change, recorded in 2011 while still signed to RCA Records, includes some of Josh’s most introspective and honest songs to date. Thompson co-wrote all six songs on the first volume of Change: The Lost Record, out October 9. “I always knew I was going to release it, but I wanted to wait however long it took to be able to release it on my own terms,” shared Josh. “It’s like this relationship that ended four years ago but she still lives with me, so getting to be able to share this music now is like closure.” Josh Thompson Change: The Lost Record, Volume One track listing:
Stream: "Scar" via Consequence Of Sound or SoundCloud Stream: "Snow" via SoundCloud Order "Snow" via iTunes The Lonely Wild will release their much anticipated sophomore album Chasing White Light on October 2 via eOne Music / Fast Plastic. The Los Angeles-based band also announced a hometown record release show taking place September 25 at The Echoplex. Tickets for the show are available here. Additional West Coast tour dates are listed below. Consequence Of Sound premiered “Scar from Chasing White Light and called the track "their strongest song yet.” The Lonely Wild's frontman Andrew Carroll says, “The title comes from an actual scar I have on my arm.” He adds, ”When I was about eight years old, I was jumping on a friend’s bed, broke one of her porcelain dolls and sliced my arm open. As we grew up, we grew apart and didn’t really keep in touch. I heard through family years later that she had a somewhat troubled young adult life, and died way too young. Sometimes we forget how we impact each other’s lives, and when tragedy strikes, we ask ourselves, ‘What if I had done something differently?’ With ‘Scar’, I came to the realization that every moment we make decisions that can’t be undone. These decisions effect the course of our lives.” The Lonely Wild recently emerged from John Vanderslice's Tiny Telephone Studios in San Francisco with a new record and a new lease on life. "We walked into the studio with an album about death," says Carroll, "and John taught us to let go." The album, which follows the group's 2013 effort The Sun As it Comes, was born last year as Carroll was faced with the death of his wife's grandmother. "When that happens to people you know and love, you often pause and reflect on people you've known who passed away," he notes. "And then the topic started coming out in songs naturally. "Scar," a folksy indie rock tune, was one of the first songs to emerge during that process. The reflective track recounts the passing of Andrew's childhood friend who died after they'd grown apart. "That was a moment of pause for me," he says. "You wonder what could have happened if you were still part of that person's life." The rest of the album followed easily. Chasing White Light The Lonely Wild's self-proclaimed "death album" reflects on death in a way that is both accepting and uplifting. LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Peter Case, founding member of the Nerves and leader of the Plimsouls, and the first troubadour of the post-punk era, returns with his first album of new songs since 2010’s Wig! The Nerves’ 1976 “Hanging on the Telephone” EP, its title song covered by Blondie, remains a classic and has earned the band a strong following of young fans around the world. The Plimsouls’ song “A Million Miles Away” is a garage band/power pop classic. The album takes its title from the highway that connects Ciudad Juarez with Niagara Falls, Ontario. Case was born a block from it, in the Buffalo area. “I always saw HWY 62 as my gateway to the country, my doorway to the west,” he says. Guests joining Peter on the trip include Ben Harper, Jebin Bruni (PIL), Cindy Wasserman and David Carpenter (Dead Rock West), D.J. Bonebrake (X), Don Heffington (Lone Justice), and others.
