Critically lauded Chapel Hill, NC-based acoustic duo Mandolin Orange’s – Andrew Marlin and Emily Frantz –animated video for “Jump Mountain Blues” premiered today at Apple Music’s Connect and is now available to view (and share). The track is from their new album Such Jubilee (Yep Roc Records), which was recently among Rolling Stone Country’s “30 Great Country Albums Of 2015 You Probably Didn’t Hear.” For the video, the pair enlisted Carrboro, NC-based animation/live-action director/DP Abe Spear, who created the stop-motion animated video over the course of two months. Check out the creative process in the behind the scenes video clips. Check out the final video below. For tour dates and more information, visit their official website.
