(Press Release) Ben Rue, the emerging country singer who broke through on the Billboard Country Airplay Chart with his 14 Week Top 60 debut single, has listeners streaming and day dreaming Back to the Nights of carefree, rural good times with his new album premiering via online retailers on May 19. Fans don’t have to wait to hear two tracks from the record as the coy lead single Making Out and an intimate nocturnal ballad Moon Walk are available instantly with every pre-order purchase. “I know the fans been waiting a few years for a follow up project, but I really wanted to make sure that I had the right songs – a good balance of fun, storytelling and message songs that connect with me,” says Ben. “I had such a great time writing and selecting songs for this album. I hope they enjoy listening to it as much I enjoyed making it.” Fans can pre-order Back to the Nights on iTunes and receive the first two releases from the album instantly by clicking here. It will be available at all online retailers on Friday, May 19. To celebrate the launch of the pre-sale, Ben stopped by Seacrest Studios to premiere the new music with the patients and staff at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. He played the patient submitted game of “like or dislike” with the hosts Mamie Shepherd and Sierra and shared his own daily regimen that he goes through since he was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at the age of 14.
