After establishing himself as one of the premiere songwriters of late 2000s, Brad Byrd is back after nearly 6 years with a brand new single, and album on the way! Just premiered on Vents Magazine, "1000 Pink Balloons" reflects on self-discovery and strength in letting go, and captures the current moment in time when so many people feel invisible and powerless. "1000 Pink Balloons" refers to watching something huge develop in front of your eyes, seemingly fragile but unstoppable.

The new album Highest Mountain was written and produced by Byrd alongside John Kimbrough (Walt Mink, Tenacious D), and is slated to arrive at the end of June. Brad's multi-layer songwriting has landed his music on shows like the The New Girl, Happy Endings, American Housewife, and Ben & Kate. Brad Byrd has performed with the likes of Bobby Long, Mike Doughty, Jay Farrar (of Son Volt), and Jurassic 5.
