Nashville, TN – Acclaimed two-time Grammy Award winner Jason Isbell will perform on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert this Thursday, February 25. Isbell recently took home his first two Grammy Awards for his celebrated 2015 album Something More Than Free, winning BEST AMERICANA ALBUM and BEST AMERICAN ROOTS SONG, for the track “24 Frames”.

Along with an unprecedented chart debut with the #1 Rock, #1 Folk and #1 Country album, Something More Than Free received unanimous praise from a wide range of press. The album landed in numerous year-end top album lists, including Rolling Stone (#7), Village Voice ‘Pazz & Jop’ (#11), Entertainment Weekly’s ’10 Best Country Albums of 2015’ (#3), NPR Music’s “Top 50 Albums of 2015”, American Songwriter (#3), No Depression’s Critic’s Poll Top 10 (#1), Reader’s Poll (#1), and many more. 

Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit recently returned from Europe to begin a U.S. tour, headlining some of their largest venues yet. Demand remains high as many recent dates have sold out, including two nights to kick things off at ACL Live at the Moody Theatre in Austin, TX. This week, Isbell will perform two sold out shows at The Beacon Theatre in New York.
