Nashville, TN – The first annual Mountain High Music Festival, hosted by Dean Dillon and LMG, at Elevation Hotel and Spa in beautiful Crested Butte, CO kicked off last week to a thrilled crowd of fans who enjoyed amazing music from top artists and singer/songwriters as well as some great powder on the slopes during the five-day festival. Country music stars Lee Brice, Thompson Square, Robert Earl Keen and Dean Dillon, along with many other talented artists performed at various venues around town during the fun-filled event, which will donate more than $65,000 in its inaugural year for charities like Tough Enough To Wear Pink and the Adaptive Sports Center.
“Wow! What a festival! We promised up close and personal and boy was it ever. Robert Earl was amazing. Heard a lot of comments of him putting on the best show he's ever done and I tend to agree. We've been friends for years and I think he just went all out for us. Thank you Robert! And Thompson Square in that kind of setting, well you’ve got to see and hear just how great they really are. And, Lee Brice left everything on our stage. Now you see why he's so hot right now. And then there were the girls, Sonia Leigh and Brook Eden. Man they got everybody's attention. Sonia with her edgy voice just slayed everybody and Brook answered any and all questions about her vocal abilities. Kendal Marvel picked up where he left off last year, and he absolutely smoked. Due West just gets better and better. I’m chomping at the bit to produce an album on those guys. A little R&B swamp music doesn't hurt anything, and Collin Lake ripped through some of the best stuff ever. The Crowlin Ferlies showed us all how to play Scottish bluegrass and locals Chris Coady, Evelyn Roper, Bill Dowell and Lizzy and Craig reminded us how great all of them are. A big THANK YOU to all the sponsors and attendees and a special nod to ELEVATION HOTEL and SPA for hosting the FEST. I hope you walked away from it just like I did. Chomping at the bit for next year. Blessings!” says Dean Dillon Sirius/XM personality Storme Warren was on hand to emcee the week’s events, which included VIP parties, intimate acoustic performance, and in-the-rounds with songwriters like Sonia Leigh, Chris Coady, and Colin Lake, as well as concerts by Brice and Keen. Fans were treated to plenty of “Music With An Altitude” during the week-long event, which returns next year with a promising exciting lineup of new shows and premiere winter activities.
