Looking for something new to listen to? Why not give the music of the band Dexeter a shot. Dexeter plays contemporary country with a rock and roll twist from deep within the folds of Leicestershire. Guitarist and songwriter Gareth Thomas has played everything from rock to metal to reggae and country as he performed at hundreds of gigs across the UK and Europe, often to an audience consisting of the other bands on the bill, their girlfriends and the bar staff. The band recently hooked up with talented vocalist Deeanne Dexeter and are ready to release their unique, harmony heavy feel good music to the UK and beyond. With regular Nashville radio play and interest from the BBC, Dexeter are ready for whatever comes their way. The band appeared at C2C2014 on the Pop Up artist stage alongside acts such at Striking Matches, Emma Jade and more and will appear at the Yeehaw Country Music Festival in September. Their new song, "Slow It Down," is a bluesy sounding tune full of accordian and bass delivered by Deeanne's gorgeous vocals. The single is available at digital retailers.
