The album includes “Made in the Midwest” which speaks to Elizabeth’s roots in the Midwest growing up outside Chicago on the shores of Lake Michigan and spending time with family in Iowa, Wisconsin and Minnesota. The song “Girls Like Shoes, Bags & Boys” which speaks to all women and the things they love and “Southern Gentleman” is Lyons’ story moving from the north to the south. “General Admission” speaks to Lyons’ love of country concerts being one big party and her love of each and every fan to her experience opening up for: “Luke Bryan” and writing a song about finding a boyfriend who’s like him. “My main goal for this record is to be true to who I am. I want my songs to convey my personality and approach toward life.
