Emmylou Harris to be Honored with All Star Concert Celebration

"THE LIFE & SONGS OF EMMYLOU HARRIS: AN ALL STAR CONCERT CELEBRATION” will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2015 at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington D.C. The event will bring an extraordinary collection of music's stars together to honor and celebrate the career of this esteemed songstress. The event will feature performances by some of Emmylou's duet partners including Rodney Crowell and Kris Kristofferson as well as Sheryl Crow, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Mavis Staples, Martina McBride, John Hiatt, Lucinda Williams, Trampled by Turtles, Steve Earle, Patty Griffin, Iron & Wine, Shawn Colvin, Shovels & Rope, Joan Baez, Sara Watkins and the Milk Carton Kids with more artists expected to be added in the coming weeks. The backing band includes Don Was and Buddy Miller.
