Honoring past and present Best Folk Album nominees and other American Roots music artists, the event will be emceed by Canadian singer/songwriter Rose Cousins, whose album Natural Conclusion is nominated for Best Engineered Album, the matinee event will include performances by 2018 Best Folk Album nominees Olivia Chaney (Offa Rex) and The Secret Sisters, as well as special guests Dar Williams, Best Traditional Blues Album nominee Guy Davis and Fabrizio Poggi, Ashley Campbell, daughter of the late Glen Campbell, who is nominated for Best American Roots Performance. Also attending is special guest Bobby Osborne, Best Bluegrass Album nominee. More artists to be announced; tickets are on sale here. 2018 marks the Recording Academy’s 60th Anniversary and the 30th Anniversary of Folk Alliance International. During this hallmark year for both organizations, we find ourselves looking back at a combined near century-long history of dedication to the power of music and celebration of the artists that create it.
