Historic John T Floore's Kicks Off 75th Anniversary April 14th with Co-Headliners Robert Earl Keen and Randy Rogers Band

Nashville, TN - - -  Jan, 2017 (Press Release) - - - Legendary honky tonk, Floore’s Country Store will kick off their 75th Anniversary season in style with Robert Earl Keen and Randy Rogers Band on April 14th.  The co-headline is the first of many special performances scheduled for the 2017 Anniversary Season. Tickets for the sure-to-sell-out event will go on sale this Friday, January 27th at 10:00am CT.  Tickets will be available at the venue as well as online at  www.liveatfloores.com.

With a history steeped in country music, legends, and lore, Floore’s is a slice of Americana and a reminder that they just don’t make 'em like they used to.  “Floore's Country Store is a timeless honky tonk. One hundred years from now, you're going to step out of your spaceship and tell your robot spouse, 'This is Floore’s Country Store. It's where music was invented,'” said Robert Earl Keen.  Rogers added, “I’m proud to be a part of the 75th Anniversary Celebration, it’s an honor to play the shows with Robert, and it will easily be one of the highlights of my career. Both Floore’s and Robert are a big part of why I have a job in this crazy business.”

Dubbed the “birthplace” of Willie Nelson, the venue’s founder and Nelson’s early business partner , John T. Floore is immortalized in Nelson’s hit song, “Shotgun Willie.”  For three quarters of a century Floore’s has played host to: Nelson, Bob Wills, Ernest Tubb, Patsy Cline, Hank Williams, Johnny Cash, Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Merle Haggard, Ray Price, George Jones, Waylon Jennings, Dwight Yaokam, Lyle Lovett, Robert Earl Keen, Randy Rogers Band, B.B. Robert Earl Keen is a songwriter's songwriter and an Americana music trailblazer.  He’s an explosive entertainer with a razor sharp wit.  With almost twenty bestselling albums under his belt and an iconic career, Keen is living proof that life can imitate art, “the road goes on forever.”  He's shared the stage with Lyle Lovett, Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt, Rodney Crowell, Vince Gill and many others.  In September 2015, he recorded his latest album, "Live Dinner Reunion" at Floore's before a sold-out crowd of 5,000 fans, celebrating the 20th anniversary of the very first live show ever recorded there and his most popular album, "No. 2 Live Dinner."  Keen tours from coast to coast, playing to thousands of fans that gleefully sing to him in chorus,  “and the party never ends!”  

The Randy Rogers Band is a "fine, no-glitz, knowing hard-country outing" (Wall Street Journal) known for delivering two hours of twin-fiddle driven music more than 100 nights a year. After wrapping a sold-out West coast tour to end 2016, the "musicians who grow along with their audience" (NPR) are slated for a record-breaking 2017, touring the East coast to kick off the year, followed by a performance at Stagecoach in April. The band's single "Tequila Eyes" is "a new standard, a sozzled, tragic take on the Eagles' placid country-rock"(Rolling Stone Country) and is currently climbing the Billboard Hot Country singles chart.
