Nashville, TN (May 20, 2015) – Platinum-selling country star and Streamsound recording artist Kristian Bush is teaming up with Armed Forces Entertainment, MWR, and Stars for Stripes for a special two-week long military tour of U.S. military bases in Japan. Bush will kick off the tour by headlining a special Memorial Day Concert on Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam in Honolulu, Hawaii, on May 25. “I am excited and honored to spend time with and perform for our fine men and women of the Armed Forces, and completely humbled to be playing Pearl Harbor on Memorial Day,” says Bush. “My father was an officer in the Army and my grandfather served in World War II, and I am so proud of their service. I’ll always do whatever I can to support our troops." During his performance at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Bush will also participate in a Grand Ole Opry “Circle Throwdown,” honoring both the Opry’s 90th Anniversary and “Salute the Troops” month in their year-long “Cause for Applause” celebration. He will then travel to Japan to perform seven shows for the troops stationed in that country. In the evenings, he will sit in as the on-air host for BBC2 Radio/Bob Harris Country’s coverage of the LP Field concerts for the third consecutive year.
