Lisa Redford to Release 'Another Place and Time' April 8th

Lisa Redford (“one of our finest singer/songwriters’ Bob Harris), releases a brand new EP Another Place and Time on April 8th through Proper Music Distribution. The songs are recorded with José McGill from renowned Americana band The Vagaband and he also plays double bass, drums, percussion, electric guitar and hammond organ. Talented musician Noel Dashwood contributes his wonderful dobro as well as ukulele, harmonies and harmonica.

Lisa has played a number of festivals including the Pop-Up stages at C2C Country to Country and recorded sessions for Radio 2's Bob Harris, including ‘Under the Apple Tree’, and Amazing Radio. Another Place in Time opens with the instantly memorable and melodic single "Music and the Mountains." The bittersweet and heartfelt title track follows. "Remember Me" is a hooky radio-friendly band track and moving ballad "Worst Kind of Love" closes the EP. Biography Lisa Redford has earned acclaim for her heartfelt acoustic Americana and folk with memorable melodies and stunning vocals. She has also performed with, and opened for, many respected international artists within the worlds of country, folk and Americana. In 2015 her song "Here Alone" was covered by the winner of the Pre-Teen Award at TeenStar, a national competition at Birmingham’s NEC. Having been based in the US as well as the UK, Lisa also writes popular music columns for Songwriting Magazine, the Evening News Newspaper and All Things Norfolk, where she reviews and previews gigs and offers tips to thousands of readers.
