"Silver City Bound has their own loose-limbed charm...serving up a sprightly mixture of folk, country, mariachi, and more." - The New Yorker
"Americana at its best." - Huffington Post Having played Folk Alliance as well as having opened for the Carolina Chocolate Drops, Amy Helm, and Sam Bush, NYC's Silver City Bound - accordionist (that's, right accordian!) and vocalist Sam Reider, guitarist and vocalist Justin Poindexter, bassist Noah Garabedian, and drummer Will Clark - are prepping to release their new EP, Take My Picture, which follows up their award winning album Diner In The Sky (named Best Americana album 2014 from the Independent Music Awards). Consisting of five tracks, (four originals and a heavenly rendition of "Do Right Woman, Do Right Man,") Take My Picture wickedly merges zydeco, folk, jazz and rock for a more than a solid listen. Opening with an influx of horns, "Take My Picture" is a rootsy rocker featuring lush melodies, smooth vocals and a foot stomping, hand clap filled bridge that you'll find irresistible....and will definitely leave you wanting to hear more. The Daily Country is pleased to be able to stream the soulful title track below.
