Up and coming song stylist Logan Brill grew up on the good stuff; the Tennessee native was singing around campfires with a musical family and playing in her brothers’ blues band as a teenager. While other kids were listening to the latest pop hits, Logan was listening to iconic musical figures ranging from Emmylou Harris and Dolly Parton to Bonnie Raitt, John Hiatt and Van Morrison. Her love of roots based music, both country and blues, has informed her decisions when selecting songs and impacted her powerful and pure vocals with an approachable bluesy vulnerability. Her new album, SHUTEYE, due later this year, is the follow up to Brill’s acclaimed 2013 debut album WALKING WIRES which That Nashville Sound named one of the "Top 10 Country Albums of 2013." Already a critic’s darling, she has earned praise from Southern Living, Country Weekly, CMT and Billboard, among others. Immediate album stand outs include the smoldering-with-sass title track “Shut Eye,” the sultry with swagger “Don’t Pick It Up,” along with “Woman On Your Mind” with a guest appearance by David Nail and “I Wish You Loved Me” with a guest appearance by Charlie Worsham. In addition to praise from music critics, Logan has also been accepted by her peers who have taken her under their wing. Her pure pitch and ability to turn a phrase has helped her to earn coveted slots opening for the likes of Merle Haggard, Steve Earle, Dwight Yoakam, and Todd Snider, to name a few. In addition to performing at Stagecoach and Merlefest earlier this year, Brill will make her Opry debut on May 16th. Logan Brill has quickly begun to create a buzz in music city, while carving out a niche all her own.
