In his interview with Atwood Magazine, Chris Chu says of the collection: “We just didn’t want to wait around another year or two or three making and planning the release of an album. We make music so often, it just doesn’t feel natural anymore to wait that long. We love the idea of being able to put out new music every month. It just feels more natural to how we operate as a band.”
The band recently premiered “Fingerprints,” the first single, via Earmilk who praise it’s “charming acoustic guitar hook, endearing vocals, and a cheerful upbeat chorus.” Watch that video here. POP ETC is Chris Chu, Jon Chu and Julian Harmon. The band has released two full-length albums, including 2012’s self-titled debut, and 2016’s Souvenir. Souvenir’s single, "What Am I Becoming?", spent 13 weeks on SiriusXM's Alt Nation Countdown.
